Traditional Master Plant Dieta with Papa Gilberto
Master Plant dieta under the renowned lineage of the Mahua family with Papa Gilberto.
The Master Plant dieta or teacher plant diet is a unique opportunity to dive into the Shipibo lineage and study the tradition of connecting with the spirits of plant medicine during an Ayahuasca retreat in the Peruvian Jungle. Located outside Pucallpa on the banks of the stunning lake Cachibococha, the connection with the spirits of the master plants and trees will be guided by the widely knowledgeable and kind Maestro Shaman Papa Gilberto.
In the tradition, the dieta will assist the dietero/a (student) to establish a life-long relationship with the spirits dwelling in the plants or trees that play an important role in the Shamanic practice of working with Ayahuasca. Learning this tradition is facilitated through lectures, workshops, sharing, and periods of personal silence and self-reflection Yoga, movement, art workshops, and meditation will also part of the 12-day journey with the Master Plants.
The Master Plants offered by Papa Gilberto
A traditional Master Plant dieta has several ritualistic components, including how the plants are prescribed. One option is the Master Plant dieta is prescribed to an individual by curandero Papa Gilberto. Thought it is possible an individual might innately feel a strong connection with a Master Plant and receive powerful visions or dreams that manifest as an invitation to complete a dieta with a certain plant. Either way our curandero overseeing the student’s healing may intuit that a Master Plant is perfectly suited to the needs of their student, based on their own dieta experience. Maestro Shaman Papa Gilberto during the retreat will offer diets with Noya Rao, Bobinsana, Chiric Sanango, Ayahuma, Waira Caspi, Chullachaqui Caspi.
The purpose of the Master Plant dieta is for the dietero(a) to form a lifelong relationship with the plant spirit. Like any relationship, the quality of the relationship will be determined by the energy one gives to the connection with the Plant Spirit. Sincere, authentic attention given to the plant throughout their fast will enable the dietero(a) to unlock guidance, information, and energy stored within the plant and to seek important answers that will aid them in their healing journey. Once the length of the dietero(a)’s dieta has been fulfilled, spiritual protections will be sealed by their curandero or teacher in order to preserve the healing realized through the dieta.
